Attack is an attribute which goes trough all other stats be4 calculating final damage. For example, you have 100 attack when doing a skill. On that 100 attack is added your amp modifier(let's say 50% for example), so you have 150 damage and that goes trough target's defense(lets say -20 dmg) which means your final damage will be 130(if you crit that multiply by your crit dmg modifier too). Add damage is the number that is added up to the final dmg in Cabal. It doesn't go trough other calculations. So if u had 130 dmg with a skill and 30+add dmg, those 30 add up and form a final dmg of 160. The important difference is that even of the target has 5000 defense and your attacks are 1/2/5 that +dmg will just add up to it(31/32/35). That is why bladers can kill force shielders in AoD.
And also we believe that the "Add damage" will be applied only once to the skill regardless of the number of hits it does before ending. F.E : WA WW will have +X add damage added at the end of the skill, for the skill it self is one, but the animation shows it as if it was more than one hit. Add damage value will be divided on the number of the hits you see during the attack/skill. Assuming WW Base damage = 1000 , add damage =200. Total damage will be 1200. FA bm2 will have +X add damage added after every 4 gun hits in bm2. (each 0.7 sec's). BL bm2 will have +X add damage added after each one the 4 attacks skills :
First attack [divided into two claw hits]: .533 seconds +X add damage. Second attack [divided into two claw hits]: .9 seconds +X add damage. Third attack [divided into two claw hits]: .667 seconds +X add damage. Fourth attack: .3333 seconds +X add damage.
